It was here that on 28 June 1824, Thomas CHILVERS married Ann RAW (born in Docking) after the death the previous year of his first wife Elizabeth THURLOW. The indications are that Elizabeth died in childbirth and that her daughter Martha only survived her by three weeks. Elizabeth & Martha were both buried in Docking. I do not have any information about Ann or indeed the RAW family. I would be very grateful for any help in finding a family for her.

The date of the building of the church is unknown to me at the present time but any information will be gratefully received and used.
