Arthur James CHILVERS was a Lay Preacher here besides being the Station Master for Dersingham. He did occasional duties at Wolferton Station which was used by the Royal Family when they visited Sandringham. As a child I listened in awe to my Father talking about "Uncle" Arthur. Sadly I never met him. Wolferton Station is now a very interesting Railway Museum.

The date of the building of the church is unknown to me.
