SAINT MARY'S CHURCH, BEACHAMWELL, NORFOLK

Beachamwell Church There are no CHILVERS recorded at Beachamwell but I have included it as a remarkable example of church architecture.

We recently stayed in the village on one of our forays to the best sources of CHILVERS information in Kirby Hall and the Norfolk Records Office, Norwich.

The oldest parts of the church are late Saxon. There is a round tower and the main roof is thatched.
